Lonesome Lovers

To live a life with love,

A life I wait to live,

I’m a lover without a lover,

A lover with love to give.

I seek it at all places,

I seek and lose my mind,

I seek like the fool I am,

I seek what I don't find.

To choose my life with love,

A life I wait to choose,

I'm a believer without a believer,

A believer with faith to lose.

I dream of it at times,

I dream and flee my truth,

I dream like the child I am,

A fairy, a pillow, a tooth.

To let it bare with love,

And bare I wait to let,

I’m a sharer without a sharer,

A sharer with a heart to bet.

I hope beyond hope,

I hope and scar my soul,

I hope like the loner I am,

I hope to once be whole.

To live the dream with love,

A dream I wait to live,

I’m a lover without a lover,

A lover with love to give.
